Upon returning to school after the break, you may have noticed some changes to our outdoor spaces as we take the next exciting steps in the continued growth of our school. As part of preparations for upcoming construction project, the community garden, and several trees along the side of the existing parking lot have been removed.
Construction of a new parking lot is scheduled to begin in the next few weeks and is expected to be completed by the end of the school year. This project will set the stage for the next phase of development, as construction of the new school addition is scheduled to begin at the start of the summer break.
We recognize that these outdoor areas have been a valued part of our school environment, and decisions like this are not made lightly. These early changes allow the work to move ahead safely and efficiently. Once complete, the addition will provide much-needed space to better support our growing school community and enhance learning opportunities for our students.
Student safety remains our top priority throughout each phase of the project. We will continue to share updates with families as construction moves forward.
